Lasagna

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs. ground beef
2 jars favorite spaghetti sauce
1 large container cottage, or ricotta cheese
1 large package shredded mozzarella cheese
parmesan cheese
1 box lasagna noodles


DIRECTIONS

Brown meat, drain fat. Add spaghetti sauce, and simmer for a few minutes. Cook noodles in salted boiling water until tender.

In a 9×13 baking dish spread a couple spoonfuls of sauce. Cover pan with lasagna noodles, then half meat mixture, half cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, then repeat layers. Top off with parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

I usually put it on broil the last 5 minutes or so to get the cheese brown and bubbly. I love to make this in the summer when I have fresh romain lettuce in the garden for a salad, and I always serve with garlic bread.
