Taco Soup

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs. ground beef
1 small onion chopped
2 cans green chilies diced
1 1/2 packets taco seasoning
1/2 cup liquid ranch dressing
5 cans diced tomatoes undrained
2 cans kidney beans undrained
2 cans pinto beans undrained
2 cans hominy undrained
2 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper

DIRECTIONS

Brown ground beef and onion in a large soup pot. When done,  add in all other ingredients and simmer for about 30 minutes. I serve with shredded sharp cheddar cheese, tortilla chips, and sour cream. This makes a lot of soup. And it’s even better the next day. We all love this soup!
